Stinky Santa Christmas Party

the MidwayYouthMinistry’s Stinky Santa Christmas Party is Sunday, December 4th, 5:30pm-8:30pm at the Crooked Creek Clubhouse. Bring a “stinky” gift for our white elephant style gift exchange. On top of all that craziness, we’ll also eat a fabulous dinner together, gorge ourselves on sweets, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy the neighborhood lights. Don’t forget a jacket!

CONNECTION

CONNECTION will be meeting at the Week’s house this week. It will be dark early so we’re having a bonfire. Dinner will be provided so come hungry. We’ll also look into the Word and Worship…so come on…5:30-7:00pm this Sunday, November 6th. Oh and you may want to dress warmly! (5030 Hyde Court Cumming, GA 30040)

Youth: Winter Retreat 2012

This year’s *Winter Retreat* is scheduled for February 17-20, 2011. We will be going to glorious New Winterplace, WV for a weekend of skiing and connecting. The cost is $333 and a deposit of $150 is due by Dec 11th. (Parents: please note that we are leaving at Noon on the 17th and your kids will have to leave school early if they have it.)

the Ezra Project

God’s Word…in big chunks…no commentary…just truth. Saturday morning, July 9, 6am-Noon. Come and listen.

So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand. He read it aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate in the presence of the men, women and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law. Nehemiah 8:2-3

Bring a creative gift, a crazy gift, or a gift that will be sure to be stolen many times to the Midway Youth Ministry version of a White Elephant Gift Exchange. (Just don’t bring something you wouldn’t want to take home!)

We’ll also have a great dinner, hot drinks, and our traditional hayride through Crooked Creek. The festivities will happen from 5-9pm @ the Crooked Creek Clubhouse: 14250 Creek Club Drive

Parent’s Meeting

All parents of Youth are invited to join us for a night of prayer on January 23rd from 6-7pm. Drop your kids off at Connection and then head over to the Freiburg’s house for a time of fellowship and prayer…then pick your kids up at the church afterwards.
